KYB are more sporty (stiffer). But they are known to fail pre-maturly in race-type environments.
On the street they should be fine. Besides, they have a lifetime waranty.
I know someone who had them on a 1986 944 and loved them.

Al,
I have the KYB 363014 strut inserts and KG4529 rear shocks. These are their economy models. They do an OK job with my stock coils and torsion bars but I definitly wouldn't say they were sporty. I think the ones Tabor is talking about are the "sport" models. Don't know much about Boge...sorry.

I do race now & then, but on my third set of rear KYBs, and gave up on the front a while ago.
I know a few people who love KYBs but FOR THE STREET. I hear they have good upmarket stuff too, but most def. stay away from 'GasAdjust'.
