Hi!
Just got my first Porsche! Yeehaw, it only took 15 years! It's a 85.5 with 108k miles. Was very well maintained, and got it cheap ($2200 US).
Anyhoo, it's puffing white "smoke" after sitting overnight, no "smoke" after warm-up. It's pretty clear it's a head gasket. (oil is clean, no water incursion)
In replacing the head gasket is there anything else that should be done while it's apart?
The dealer (authorized) has offered a fixed 8-hour repair window (refund if less). Is this reasonable?
Thanks.
