What's the best way of getting on the factory tour?

I'll be in the area last week of March..

PCA? PCNA? Who should I call??

Call Porsche North America in Atlanta I believe, and get intouch with the folks at the main office of PCA in the DC area.

Thats where I would start anyway.

Just make sure when you get out there that you hire a driver to take you there....You dont want to have to rely on directions and drive right by it...LOL....sorry Adrial, I couldnt resist.

Hope it works out...Get info on the new car we are hearing rumours about.

Adrial,

The official way is to call a US (local) Porsche dealer and they will get you on the tour list. Sadly, I missed out last spring when I was in Germany and had a German friend call to try to get me in. The tour was full and I was denied despite my friend explaining to the freulien that "my buddy came all the way from the US, has a Porsche, and would love to experience a tour." SOL in German she told my friend. The proper protocol is to call a dealer she explained.

FYI, if you're looking for a 944 diecast model, they are available and reasonably priced in Europe. I've noticed quite a few on EBay over the last 3-4 months. I wish I knew this when I was over there.

Have a great time.

Mike

I did the factory tour and the museum in 1992 with my fiancee. She was bored. The marriage did not last - I should have know right then and there.
My second wife drove a Austin-Healey Sprite until just a few years ago and shifts the Tiptronic in her Passat like Schumacher! She would have loved the museum.
