![Question](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I am looking at a 944S2 which has a limited slip diff. The lsd is one of the options that came along with the M030. Is there a way to determine if this S2 has the M030? Option code? Does the lsd mean it has the M030? What is included in the M030 package? Thanks!

The factory options code sticker should still be pasted to the sheet metal under the carpet in the back, near the spare tire.
Alternatively (from reading & memory), you should be able to look in the front wheel well at the front struts (turn tires to full lock)... M030 will have adjustable lower (?) spring perches on the strut (somebody tell me if I'm shooting BS here). Non-M030 will look just like any other MacPherson strut, w. fixed lower spring perch welded to the strut tube.
The M030 package included stiffer, adjustable suspension and larger sway bars & brakes; not sure if LSD was part of all M030's or not, think it was. OK, guys, what have I got wrong here?
Jim, off to "work"...
