Question Crash Test Results For 944

Other than what we see at the body shop, or hear from "survivors", has anyone seen "subjective" crash test results for the 944?

Maybe im a little too curious.

I don't have any hard data but I'd sure like to see some.

Thumbs up

at hokenhiem (F1 track) i saw a guy in a 952 hit the wall head on after a bad swerve at about 135MPH the car was done for ,but the owner got out with no injury but his pride. as amatter of fact he climbed out the windo and kicked the door and hurt his foot with his temper!

My dad used to have an 85.5 NA(which is why I bought an 87NA) and we were rear ended pretty hard in it. A one ton pick up truck with a really nice 2 foot wide chrome bumper rear ended us at about 30-35mph. I was in the back seat(16 years old at the time...couldn't fit in there now), it broke the rear hatch glass and smashed us into the mustang in front. Two things I noticed....one, I and everyone else was uninjured...two, the car did not buckle in the middle like most cars would have. Although its not a real heavy car, I think it held up suprisingly well with that kind of impact.

My 2 cents...

Some pictures I've got:

and,

I think these cars do quite well in crashes, certainly much better than most from the 80s.
