Post Help!!

Well i was on my way home and only a block away and my low oil pressure light came on. by the time I got home and poped the hood I could hear the lifters "clanging" so i shut down asap. I'm guessing the hydrolic lifters are not getting oil, but could a pump just go out like that or could it be something simple (please please...lol) I'm running on a fresh top end rebuild, and synthetic fluid and have had about 100 trouble free miles...any help thanks...I'm afraid to start or move the car and it is in my garage

Hmm, I think your oil pump might've went out (could be a pretty major job). Try to tighten the nut that secures the pump to the crank (on the crank pulley).

You may not have done much damage driving for only one block, and with synthetic oil, specially if you didn't rev the thing high.
