Danno,
Congrats on the first one to hit 1000 threads (counter pegged at 999...John D., you gotta fix this!).
From this neophyte owner to someone who could likely do an engine rebuild in his sleep...
THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT ADVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mike

Yea, I think so. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
And I don't think the counter is broken either. <img src="graemlins/drink.gif" border="0" alt="[cherrsagai]" />

#1 Mistake:
Tabor...OOOOOPPSSSS <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" /> <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />
I should have known this...
Tabor Tabor Tabor
Danno Danno
Tabor Tabor Tabor
Danno Danno
etc...
#2 Mistake:
Looks like the "Posts" no. stays the same even for multiple replies in the same thread...seeing Dann's "999" show up 2x in one thread led me to the wrong conclusion. <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />
Mike "at least I got the neophyte thing right"
time to go to <img src="graemlins/sleep.gif" border="0" alt="[sleep]" />

There was a OT bit a while ago where Tabor was asked if he ever goes outside because he was over 1300 posts.....
If you notice, your number of total posts is pulled from the database rather than each post having a unique post number.
Either way...those 2 both are up there.....

Nope, it's not pegged, I've just been out eating, drinking and being merry! Pubs are crawling tonight being tourist season and all!
From this neophyte owner to someone who could likely do an engine rebuild in his sleep...
Why thank you, well, I'm not that good. I leave that honor for guys like John Anderson, Garrity and Scott Gomes! Now they truly amaze me! Although I have been known to tear my bike completely apart the night before a race to weld new lugs onto the frame, repaint, and throw everything back together before daylight (that was before I knew that sleep was just as important to racing).
THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT ADVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're most welcome! I hope to keep it up. Just realized this is my 1001th post... whoops I was saving the 1000 for this one... darn where was that last one?... too much drinking again...
