Post Wheel Refinishing (New Questions)

I have black fuchs wheels on which the paint has started to wear off. I'm planning to repaint the wheels but I'm not exactly sure what type of paint and painting method to use. Many of the archives talk about people just polishing their wheels but I think I need to strip the original paint off and replace it with a new layer(or more). What paint should I use? I saw the post about Wurth paint but I could not find a place to order the paint. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm, I don't know much about the Fuch's construction. I do know what they look like, are you trying to achieve the factory look..?
Are they steel, or aluminum ...?
Modern paints are all good, you can get a lasting finish with or without clearcoat....
Single stage (no clear) urethanes are very durable. And these new type etching primers are awesome. They prevent rust and corrosion, and "bite" into the metal, giving the paint coat something to adhere to.
