[quote]Do Bilstein offer a strut with ride height adjustment for the 951..?

Go back up a couple of messages where Fletch gives you the part# for the Bilsteins with height-adjustment. These also come in a less expensive version without the threaded body (same Sport valving).
Bilsteins used to come in two versions Heavy-Duty and Sport (stiffer). The've since changed the names and everyone's confused

I have the Bilstein full threaded body shocks and struts Fletch is talking about, ride height adjustment take about 5 mins. without removing the wheels.... just spin up the bottom perch to the height you want.
I've beat the bajezus out of mine (about 20 weekends at at the track and a ton of harsh back country roads) and they still perform beautifully. I'm VERY happy with mine and [as I think it was Danno who said] they're great for all around driving (road and track)

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this discussion. This has answered a lot of my questions about suspension options.
It sounds like I need to spend some time at the track making friends and asking for rides. As with most things, personal preference plays a strong factor. I also appreciated the technical discussion about the difference in construction/design between the Bilsteins and Konis.

P.S. This is my first "flaming thread!" (in less than 24 hours)

[quote] I think koni get a lot of press here because it is the only steet performance damper option for the 1987+ cars.

Not 100 % true, Bilsien has the AK-1110-A and AK-1111-A threaded body. The have a 380/150 valving and are very street friendly. The advantage of the Bilstien is that you can use standard 2 1/4 springs that have infinate rates available.
Again, I personally would choose the Koni for street use, they are easy to adjust and are better than the stock F&S.
