Post Power at low RPM

HELP!!!

I have a 1987 951. I seem to have lost some power in the lower RPM. Car is weak in first gear or kinda
DOGGY. The power level picks up after I shift into second gear and the turbo kicks in as normal at 3000 RPM . What's up with the lower RPM’s ??? Any Ideas?
I had new plugs and wires, new belts, and tune up about 6000 miles ago.
The car is stock, no modifications.
130,000 miles, Good compression and burns very little oil if any. Starts easy and runs smoothly.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Try the boost enhancer. It helps a weak wastegate boost harder.

If the turbo does not kick in in first gear there is a problem, but there is turbo lag in every gear if the rpm is not high enough. should kick in at about 3200rpm or somewhere around there.

Cool

i agree with M@951...try the lindsey boost enhancer. i felt an immediate difference, albeit slight, but for $90 it's definitely worth a shot. i also had my injectors cleaned out...now the car runs like new.

good luck!
