I've used midwest eurosport and theyre pretty good. Expensive though. Thalmann's alignment is also excellent for alignment. They do corner balancing and they have a tiny garage with a lift just feet away from the waiting area so you can see exactly what they're doing/talk to them it was only 60$ for a regular alignment.

You definitely are better off learning as much as you can so you can wrench away on as much as you can. Few good shops in the area but not many.

Glad to see another local owner.

So the wheel wiggles after the alignment? That's pretty ridiculous, not to mention dangerous.

Good thing you checked.

This may be a good tip, but doesn't provide any definitive answers.

There are 'PCA endorsed' shops out there that, well, are not-so-good to put it nicely. This is NOT to say they are all like this. There are of course, plenty of good ones.

It could also be worthwhile to look into your local Audi chapter's recommendations.

It can definitely be frustrating, especially when you consider trustworthiness.

Take care,

Kinda like mine, I hit a bump and the steering wheel went crooked.
I had checked it after I put the new tires on and the camber was at
1.5 negative, after the bump .4.....

I just did an alinment on mine, I had seized up camber bolts on the struts

For the rear there seems to be a special tool needed, but mine is on the
money so the tool got put on the back burner.

Don Rosen. Haven't given them any money since. Been at least 6 years. I'll drive over to Cherry Hill or out to Willow Grove first.

After the Don Rosen fiasco I chatted with folks and they recommended Woodlawn Auto in Germantown. They haven't done me dirty yet. Problem usually is there is a waiting list to get your car in for repairs.

If you want a good local Porsche shop, go to Fischer Motors.

Jack and John from Woodlawn are great mechanics, I used to road race VW's with those guys! They DO
know there stuff on German cars..

If you get stuck I'm a tech at Faulkner Hyundai and can use the lifts and
rack after hours...

They aren't really much less than what dealer charges, but they know their Porsches real well and have also worked on a lot of track cars.
