I am interested in seeing some photos of the inside of the 944 transmission, preferably with some sort of labelling of the parts. I bought Chiltons import repair manual...and it didn't have it. Haynes doesn't have anything. Mitchell On Demand software didn't have...yet I heard there is a Mitchell on Demand Transmissions version...maybe that might have. Anyways, if anyone knows where I can find this, be it on the internet or in a book, please let me know. I don't really want to shell out the hundreds of dollars for the factory workbooks either.

I really dont know much about the inside of the trans. Even though my trans is sitting in pieces im garage. I wouldnt even be able to begin to tell you what is what. I have another one comin in this week.

However, I do know that the factory workbooks can be purchased on microfiche for alot cheaper than the actual set of books. I saw them on ebay for like around $40- $50. You can just take it to the library and print out the relevant pages.
