Power, speed, Power, speed. Testerones run amok. I was there once, but I've become a traditionalist. I just want my 944 NA to be perfect and mechanically restored to reliable and original condition. I don't drag or track my car and there aren't any descent roads in Florida to warrant extreme suspension or tire mods. I've been going bumper to bumper, replacing all the rubber seals, boots, gaskets and rebuilding all the injectors and making it right. I love this car (my third) and plan to keep it for a long time. With gas getting more expensive and my car getting 30 mpg highway, this isn't a bad plan, not to mention the attention it gets and the enjoyment I get driving it.
you've made a very solid case for this point of view. a great plan would be to do exactly this while enjoying the engine to it's last days... and then adding a splash of nitrous for the big sendoff !!

oh, you don't know the half of it.... i've got 300 icbms in the bullpen waiting to fly.
i always find it interesting to see if people kept up with their projects/promises or simply moved on....
take that guy who was doing that exotic interior conversion..... that sure ended well.![Stick Out Tongue](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)

did odurandina bump it- yes - check!
why bump threads when you can do simple checks, see he has not been active since 2007 when he replaced his 944.

this thread hardly contributes anything to topic that is overkill on these forums.
