Thumbs up

WOW Dan!!! Looks great! Hopefully noone will ridicule the appearance mods... they look very clean. Only small change I would make is removing the "porsche" lense to put the plate back in there.

Where did you end up getting the body parts? (Sorry if this was already discussed)

Okay Dan... you've done the engine and body... now it's time for suspension Looks like there's just too much gap in those fender wells. Talk to me Dan

yes I do want to work on the suspension(fix gap and get better handleing) the 9" wide wheels in the back made a noticable difference in handleing...as for where I got the body kit..it was used(ebay and various forums)...I had to re-sand it all and did all the prep work for the whole car. You can get the kit at better bodies, and I think tweeksbetter bodiesthanks all...dan

The thread title reads "what do you think", I'll be honest:

Rear license plate looks out of place, and lettering of P O R S C H E is a little too showy, it's also somewhat outdated, contrasting the car's clean lines in the back. I like the factory look of the turbo from the rear a lot, but this bumper cover isn't bad at all, the fit can be improved judging by the pictures.

The side skirts are a nice addition, however they amplfy the height of the car, as do the large chrome rims, this car needs to be lowered.

Front end is quite nice.

If I may suggest, 968/993 style mirrors, I think would go quite nice with this car.

9 inch tires are a little too wide for the rear, if you're looking for real performance, 225 tires are good, and for low speed tracks 235 is really wide enough, anything more and there's too much unsprung weight, and surface area. You can't take advantage of all that rubber with little power, or suspension work. Just end up carrying it around. Chrome rims also add a lot of unsprung weight, and reduce brake heat dissipation.

Paint looks superb (nice color also), as does the panel fit, I think the rear bumper is supposed to stick out a tad at the top right?

Looks really great, super looking 944. The only thing I would try to modify is the rear tag position by possibly lowering it, similar to 968.

Cool

Dan,
Car looks Great. I really like the side skirts and I've been debating putting the light bar on the back of mine with my wife now for months. I like it. I agree the plate would look better lower and vertical. Nice job.

Well as for color it was repainted factory 1987 Diamond blue Metalic code L M5U, I know a lot of you all do not like the rear lense, but I have always liked them and will keep it. I am going to change the rear plate (lower it)..thanks all for the honest feedback
and yes the rear bumper is supposed to stick out a bit (I like the "fiberworks" one better
