How to clean the engine bay without a garden hose or electrical gremlins
Hi. I just finished cleaning up every visible part of my engine bay (almost). I am quite pleased with the results and don't think anything got damaged in the process.
I used De-Solv-It, a citrus based degreaser, a wire brush, and a whole lot of blue paper shop towels. It looks great, and no chance of water getting anywhere it shouldn't.
Not only that, but now my engine bay has a pleasant citrus odor. I wonder if De-Solv-It comes in Country Meadow or Musk?
Man, I love all that cast aluminum... the only downside now is I can't get the word 'zundefolge' out of my head. zundefolge...zundefolge...zundefolge...zundefolge...zundefolge!
~cheers~
