Oops, my bad, I see where you are going with this. I believe it is 2.5 and that is part of the problem. I have a Lindsey 3' exhaust for the turbo. It is a 3" cat so it and the rest of the exhaust from the cat back is 3". I would need to have an adapter made to go from the 2.5" S2 exhaust to the 3" cat and turbo exhaust. I don't want to waste the money on an adapter or cat that I am not going to use when I plan to swap the engine very soon.

The S2 pipe is 2 1/4 inch. I made an adapter to go from that up to 3" and put in the cat and the rest of the exhaust from my old turbo. I'll see what happens tomorrow.
The old cat was all busted up inside.

IT PASSED!
I think I figured out the issues.
I was driving to get the retest when the car started sputtering like it was running on three cylinders and it sounded like exhaust was coming out from under the hood. I wondered if the new exhaust came loose.
I pulled over into a parking lot and opened the hood and the number two spark plug wire was popped out of the hole and the plug was laying down between the frame rail and the exhaust header. The plug had worked it's way out of the hole. The compression blew the plug wire and the plug right out of the hole.
The electrode was broken off the plug. I wonder if the electrode had been broken for a while and was causing the incomplete combustion.
I put in four new plugs and headed on to the test.
HC = .29 (1.00 is the standard)
CO = 2.80 (12.00 is the standard)
NOX=1.77 (2.50 is the standard)
Anyone want to buy the original rear exhaust?
