I'm going with a sort of "aluminum theme" in my black interior. I'm gonna get an aluminum dash kit, lock pegs, door handles, and I already have an aluminum cd player. Does anyone know where I can get a set of nice brushed aluminum pedals? I would prefer brushed aluminum over really shiny chrome, and I would love to have some rubber inserts in them.

here is a list of everything that I will make aluminum in my car's interior, i'll post pics when its done, probably in about a month:
1. aluminum dash kit
2. aluminum shifter
3. aluminum pedals/footrest
4. aluminum door handles
5. aluminum door sills with 944 script
6. aluminum cd player
7. aluminum door lock *****
8. aluminum power window switch surround
I think that this will look real sweet in my all black all leather interior. One thing that I am looking for that I can't seem to find is some new speaker grills. I just don't like the look of the stock ones. Anyone know where to find some nice ones?

I got a really nice OMP pedal set from www.autosupermart.com
1010 Pedal Set
Complete set of 3 pedals with sandblasted aluminum. Features a long gas pedal for cars with bottom mounted pedals. Clutch pedals are chamfered to allow left foot braking. Brake pedal has safety vertical edge to prevent right foot from getting caught under. Standard aluminum gas pedal for extra feel. Comes with fixing screws and nuts. Silver $44.95
This particular set doesn't have rubber knubs on them but they really grip your feet. My foot never slips off of the pedal now and they look great.
Regards,
Max

Max, those pedals you got: do you remove the old pedals and affix the new to the existing arms, or do you just attach them to the old pedals?
Tabor, are you running the pedals at the other place? Are they grippy?
TIA

Daly 944,
The idea sounds cool. I originally wanted to do a red theme inside to match my exterior color (black interior as well), but realized that finding red parts is tougher than aluminum (spray painting looks kinda cheap when I do it...)
For the speaker grill, I went to a local metal shop with my grill and asked one of the guys to cut me a piece that looked similar. Using a drill he made some holes to make it resemble the original. They are quite nice after they have been polished and all, but I never installed them since I am still undecided as to what color theme I should put inside the car!
Just my opinion.
Good luck, and post some pictures if possible.
Mike

I would recommend Imagine Auto.com's stuff too. That guy definately knows his stuff from what I can tell.
I wish I had the type of cash flow you all have to spend on cool upgrades! Sheesh it never seems to end!![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

I am probably going to get my aluminum accessories from www.prestigeparts.co.uk their stuff is like half the price of imagine auto's, and they have more stuff. I'll probably get the pedals from auto supermart, I really like the pedals mad max got, and I can buy some rubber inserts to fill the holes. The dash itself I'm going to get from www.streetermotorsports.com/porsche.htm
This project will be done in under a month, and I will be sure to post many pictures. Thanks for your help.

Thaddeus,
Yes, you have to take off the old rubber pedal covers. Hold the new pedals on with a vise clamp and drill the mounting holes. You will leave the gas pedal in place and drill holes in it to hold on the new pedal.
Good luck,
Max

I have been trying to compile the info on the exact same parts.
What shifter are you going with? There are some good suggestions on the list for pedals.
