Didn't know what else to call it.
Anyway, the button to open my hatch located by your left foot works fine.
But the keyhole at the rear of the car which should open the hatch (and disarm the alarm/unlock the doors) isn't working.
I looked under there and all I can see is that it properly hits a little electric mechanism, and I hear a slight "click" like something is trying to work, but it does not trigger the motor or disarm the alarm.
Does anyone have any ideas? It isn't a 'manual' type of thing like on my 87 924S, when you turn the key you had to turn hard to unlock (at least on my old one), it's all electric.
Anyone know what I should look at/try to fix/replace first?
Thanks a ton,
Matt

Just wanted to bring this back up in case some of you missed it. It went down awfully quick with all the talk about Craig.

You want to put a meter on the switch to see if it connects when you hear the click. Then go down the wires from there to the motor. Then if there is even juice to the rear switch.
Obviously the motor and some wiring works.
