SydneyMan: Where did you source the grommets for the door pull straps? Thanks, Mike

those plastic bits that the pulls come out of are actually factory. They are ROW 964 RS pieces, got them from sunset Porsche. The straps are from a craft store. let me look around for my write up...

Well this link kinda threw a wrench in my thinking (especially at $300):

I was going to put down my standared CS wheel post, but we've been there 200 times,

and i'm already obnoxious enough. nice find.

$300 for the wheel is a good price but it doesn't come with the hub adapter which is $?? That definitely looks like the CS wheel except it doesn't have the Porsche crest embossed in the horn pad. I say eat ramen for a while and just get the real thing-- I love mine.

Well I decided that I am either going to get the Black Momo with Red Stitching (Don't like the Red) or the CS Copy Steering Wheel. The Momo is half the cost at $150 where the CS is $305 roughly, but I feel I may regret getting the Momo over the other one so I'm giving it a few days to think about it.

My wife Xmas'ed me this last year. It's a Momo Race with "silver" metal but the silver color really is more like "titanium" in color which turned out to be more to my liking and fitting for the interior color.

That does look very nice as well... so many good options. I appreciate all the input and help guys. I plan to redo most of my interior myself using alcantara and vinyl. I'm debating between a Camel Tan dash and top of the doors in alcantara and the rest bottoms of the doors and rest of interior with a black vinyl. Or possibly a Dark Grey/Black dash and top door in alcantara with black vinyl on the rest. Or possibly a black vinly dash and top of the door with the bottom and rest being a black/dark grey alcantara. Might even just do a plan black vinyl interior lol. Plan to recover my existing pieces in the car and by the material and do it myself.

Greg East is my interior inspiration but I don't want to copy his exactly so I would like to switch up the colors at least and a few other changes.

The wheel center for the CS wheel with the embossed crest is available from Sunset and its very reasonable IIRC. I installed that in my 944. It completely changed the character of the car.

I purchased the Momo Nero when it was first released and I have to say in my opinion its a stunning looking wheel in the flesh.
