Post Hit my car

Hi guys,
Well, yesterday was not a good night. As I backed out of Mcdonalds in my 84 944 at a very slow speed (5 km/h or so) I caught a bit of the car behind me that was parked (back bumber). I saw the car as I was backing out, but as I put my brake, it seemed as though it caught a second to late, and BAG...a little touch ended up becoming 3 dents and many scratches. Now, here's what I found weird. Considering I was hardly giving gas, how can my car have dented so much. The fender on the back driver side went in, and the back where the Porsche sticker is, was dented in 2 spots! I don't seen any signs of fiberglass under (figuring maybe the car was accidented)
Anyways..I'm fixing the dents myself (since I always wanted a project type car), and am deciding between a full repaint or just a section. I also need my roof repainted to have the car perfect again.
Anyways, just wanted to share a story.
If anyone knows any car repair guys near Montreal, let me know. Also, any transmission guys. I think it's time I fix that syncro mesh as well.
Later,
Mike
