Question gauges, power locks +roof out what gives???

Please help!! Tonight on the way home, I noticed all the gauges (speedo, gas, temp, etc.) did not budge. The power roof and power door locks are not working either. What gives?? PLEASE HELP!!
The car runs fine. Also if any one knows my instrument lights look pretty dim (that was there way before) Is that normal? Thanks to any one who can help with comments.

Check your fuses, check that they are intact and getting power, if not that I would suspect a faulty ign switch.

This sounds like an instant replay of the problems I was having this summer. Turned out to be a problem with ground wires. On my car ('87 n/a) I believe the fix was in cleaning the 4 that are up under the dash on the drivers side, essentially "under" the fuse/relay box but on the inside of the car. Look for brown wires that are held by 10mm bolts and round connectors. If that fixes it for you, good. If not, I'd start replacing stuff thats cheapest first and then keep moving through the list. Good luck.

What did you hit prior to this event? If it was the sunroof I have a long sad story. Good news is you might be able to fix it easy.
