I am thinking about buying some 17" Turbo Twist wheels for my 90 S2, would like 225-17 tires on front and 255-17 on rear. Looking for suggestions for inexpensive source of wheels and size of wheels.

Are you willing to accept used??? or do they have to be new??? Looking for only "factory" wheels??? I would wade through the Rennlist classifieds, probably jump over to Platz.com; under the Club Information section there is a link page to most of the PCA regions classifieds. This is how I got my 17's. Another source is a dealership in FL. called the Collection. Their parts dept seems to have many sets of "take-offs" for sale at good prices ~$1200 for wheels and tires. have some freinds that have gone this route and been very satisfied.

BTW, the only factory 993 Technology Twist wheels are 18". All the 17" versions are replicas. Check out the back of Excellence magazine. I've seen replica sets in 17x7.5/9" go for less than $1000.
