Default don't forget to set your park brake..

I got home last night and forgot to set the parking brake, which normally wouldn't be a big deal as the car is in gear. However I was messing with the shift **** and removed it to fix a flipped rubber piece inside of it, the car ended up in neutral during this. I walked into my house not thinking and about an hour later my neighbor across the way knocks on my door to say my car had rolled out and hit her carport. Man, am I an idiot. Not my best moment.

Don't forget to set your e brake! And thank goodness for the ugly stock bumper. It saved my *** from a lot more damage.

this is so weird. I had a dream last night....

I parked next to a Guard's Red 944 in a restaurant parking lot....

and with barely enough time to admire it, it started rolling backwards and caught a parked car...

tearing up the right quarter.

I've never had a dream even remotely like it. wtf.

For a moment there, I thought you had a really interesint red and yellow paint scheme going, then I realized it wat the light

Glad your car is OK - one of the reasons I like the ugly rubber bumpers.

DUDE! you have mind powers, haha somehow this is your fault... well that and my cars lack of an LS1.

I replaced the Bumper shock this morning so things are right with the car, except the plastic cover. Let this PSA be a lesson to every one, always use the parking brake!

I backed into my own car last night...

That was the exact reason I left the front rubbers on, it's not easy to tell where the front bumper of the 944 behind you is when you're parallel parking.

My friend borrowed my car and parked it on a steep driveway thinking the parking brake was working
(I failed to tell him it didn't) walked away from it then turned around in time to watch it smash into a tree across the street! He didn't say anything to me about it until he drove up in it with a shattered rear glass a smashed rear panel and the bumper was pushed up under the car! I was so pissed!
