Default New to me 86 Turbo :)

Got it for $7,000. 110k miles. 87' engine with about 80k miles. Body absolutely zero dents. The interior is also very sharp. Looking to tackle the suspension and get it to handle the backroads any advice?

Looks good, only advice is to remove that turbo badge from the bumper.

Suspension advice... Search the forums, its one of the most popular topics on here. A lot will depend on if you're on a tight budget for it

This was my advice as well

The car looks great. As far as suspension goes, I would put 968 MO60 sway bars and new bushings at the top of your list. Springs, shocks, and struts depends on what your budget and goals are. Talk us through that and we can help guide you.

I'd like to have a great handling sports car, not a race car. Is that possible for $2k?

They look like regular seats to me. Make sure the fuel lines have been replaced.

Yes, you could do new shocks/struts, front coils, torsion bars, and sway bars with that budget. There are some good threads on here and a pretty good summary on Clark's garage with some suggestions for different levels of performance. 220lb springs, 27mm torsion bars, a 30mm front sway bar and 19mm rear might be a match for what you want. Do some reading before you make an order

That's good to hear ya I'm very pleased with the car thus far except for the suspension of course. I'm sure wider wheels would help quite a bit.

Yeah those wheels have got to go. Now.

I'll take them off your hands, but remember this is for your benefit.

You're welcome.
