Lack Stand Locations
I am facing the prospect of lifting/placing on stands order to replace some bushings,etc...I am wondering if any or you have photos depicting the best locations you have found for placement of a floor jack and for supporting your car when it is on jack stands.
TIA

This has been discussed before and there is some controversy.
Probably the "best" places for jack stands, as well as lifting the car up, are the ***** with a hole in the center you will find along the out board edge of the underbody. On each side of the car, one is in the center and two more behind front and rear wheels. They are there for a reason.

Hi Joe,
You can edit your posts (and its topic/subject line) - there's an icon along the top for doing it (the one with the paper and pencil)
IceShark is correct - there are dimpled (strengthened) areas of the "frame" that are supposed to be used for lifting. They're easy to find (the center one is marked with a diamond, stamped into the stone area under the doors - at least on some model years). These are apparently what the manufacturer wants us to use. Who'd want to argue with them?
