Smile Daily drivers?

I was just wondering how many of you use your 944 as a daily driver, mine will most likely be my daily driver. I picked it up last saturday and love the car.

I bought the car to be my station car. It's worse than a daily driver, It's my beater car.

Nothing like a hatch when I shop with she who must be obeyed.

It's great that the thiefs are now interested in Camrys and Accords, and have little interest in old Porsches parked at the train station.

BTW, the paint is all original, and in excellent condition, and the car has 66k on it. Far from a beater by any standard, except a collector's or thief's.

I drive mine everyday, about 110 miles. It sure makes the commute go by faster!

I use mine as my daily driver. In fact, right now she is my only driver. It makes repairs more interesting.

I drive my '83 90 miles a day, all highway though. It has about 120k on it, (not sure how accurate that number is... the odometer stoped just after 95k.)

At this moment I am with Keith... "Practically every day since I've owned it (when it's running, of course)." But to be fair, the problems have taken longer to resolved only because I am doing all the repairs... ...even my wife enjoys using the car from time to time. Only complaint she has is that we smell like old leather when we get out of the car...

Nearly every day now that my daughter is driving to school. I love driving the car, but stop and go traffic is a pain.

Daily driver; my '88 944 na also was for 6 years. Only about 20 miles per day, dang it. Back-up for bad weather or dirty hauling is a '95 Toyota 4x4 pickup.

Jim, considering some kind of Audi for a real beater....

Everyday, 400-600 miles in week. 125k miles, still running strong. The only problem with my car is that I can't pull my boats with it, or it would be much closer to 800 miles a week.

Every day. Almost a half-a-mile. Just fast enough to get into second and enough time to warm up a good bit. I live about 50m from where I work, but I drive anyway(the long way).

Other than that it just goes to my girlfriends house about 50k away.

to work - 30kph
to ole' ladys' - 150-230kph. oops!

I have it on video of the tach racing up there. If anyone has a server I would love to show you what real Porsche speed looks like.

Daily drive of 40 miles, 80% highway, not nearly enough curves. It's going in storage soon once there's snow on the ground, and then I'm driving a beater Honda Prelude that's (relatively) better on snow/ice.
