BB should be "no way that's too loose" tension. it's just a hair tighter than "whoah that skipped a tooth" tension
Is this too loose?

A while back, I was driving the back roads to my house after a night out around 2:30am. Up ahead, I saw a police car parked on the side of the road next to a stop sign with his lights on. I slowly pulled up, stopped, and gently kept going.

The cop car pulled out behind me. Sh*t, I thought. I had had one or two drinks and was by no means drunk but you never want to be pulled over. So, he's right behind me but with his flashers off. At this point, I am about 8 blocks to my house. He proceeds to follow me, through left and right turns, but no flashers. I think, damn. Well, if he isn't pulling me over, I kept driving and pulled into the driveway and into the garage. When I got out of the car, the cop was at the end of the driveway, waiting.

He said, "is that a supercharger I heard?" LOL He wondered why I didn't pull over and of course I didn't answer him. I started talking about the turbo. We talked for about 15-20 minutes (it was a slow night I suppose). Anyway, thought I'd share.

This looks real loose. I would expect it to flap against the cover at high RPM. If you can twist the belt between 90 and 120 degrees, the belt should be fine, along with a touch of the whine.
