What color for steering knuckle?

What color for steering knuckle?
I am fixing the front suspension, and wanted to know if the steering knuckle is a satin black or gloss black from the factory.

If I recall, originally the finish was a gloss black. It tended to flake off in big pieces as they aged.
Just before they became NLA I got a few in for customers that looked like a flat black though.

Thanks! Gloss it is, now to prime & paint tomorrow. Today is painting the bottom side of the strut mounts, the projects never end....
