Welcome to the 944 world Chad!

Looks like you picked up Vic’s turbo… very nice machine!
BTW, were you on Olentangy Rd. at Henderson this last Friday about 3:15pm?

Hey Jason,

Yeah this was Vic's car. He was happy I was the one to get it and yes I was at olentangy+henderson last Fri. I took those first 2 pics right after that at my kid's school. I need to send Vic a pic of the wheels.

This car was also at the only show I took my 964 and the owner remebers seeing my car and taking a picture of it. The Arthritis Foundation Show? My favorite local show.

I am not needing or wanting one, but I wouldn't mind seeing and reading more myself.

I think we have a few members who have owned a turbo omni or 2 in our life time. I've had 3...

The only one I kick myself for not buying was one that came up with a factory roll bar a few years ago

One of mine had a 3" full exhaust and cone filter, it was a blast and sounded awesome. My girlfriend at the time (now wife) was not a fan of that car.

Also, the 951 looks fantastic!

Jason,

It was at the Arthritis show. Glad to hear the 951 sounded good ripping down old&tangy. Here is my other Porsche I had at that show.

Here is my for sale ad on turbomopar.com http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/sh...-GLHS-For-Sale

They are a riot! I have 2 friends that won't even ride in it anymore. Most folks I give rides to think it's fun but I do get carried away sometimes.

The 1 7/8 inch exhaust really corks them up. I talked my dad into leasing a GLH in 1985 when I was a senior in highschool. My wife hates the Omni! I know antoher guy I've ran into on Porsche, Audi and Dodge forums.

Thanks for the link. That is a clean little omni. My wife would love it. She digs small boxy cars. She is a big mk1 VW, e21 BMW, and 80s Volvo fan.

I've never had the privilege of riding in one. I was born in September of 85 so they were past their prime before I took interest.

Here you go. Not much to see as far as mods go. Missing some odds and ends. Need to find a washer res cap and there is something missing from the airbox.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Really enjoying having a 951. Here's another pic from last week.

Scored a set of Ralph Boothe HRE center caps on ebay. Should work well with these wheels.

Will be here in a few days.

Very sharp car, I just bought my 951 last fall, after years of wanting one too.
