Post Where is the spare tire air pump located?

Didn't see mine when I had my jack out last week. Is there a special compartment for it, that I didn't notice under the trunk carpet?

That deflated spare ain't going to do me much good when I need it

Tom,

Sorry, but I think that the PO decided to keep it as a souviner(very common). I got one this past X-mas for 54.00. Prices fluctuate, so shop around. I had a 15.00 cheapo compressor, which I didn't really trust, but you can guarantee I'll be keeping the Porsche compressor if I ever sell.

Tom,
Normally, the tire pump in located in a plastic box that fits inside the open portion of the spare wheel's rim. If it isn't there then it's gone. You can find them on-line and on ebay for about $55 bucks or less.

P.S.- Hoping you have AAA until you get the compressor. ha ha

Anyone with one of these cars would be crazy not to have AAA. I guess I'll give them a call tonight

Saw them on Pelican for about $50, so I'll have to put one on my XMAS list

The original style is nice but any compressor will do to inflate the tire. I wouldn't really worry about the Porsche label unless I was doing concours.

Mine is probably sitting next to all those bolts the PO left out of the engine.
