Question Checking Torsion Bar diameter

How far do I have to take my rear suspension apart to check my torsion bar diameter?

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thank You.

You'd have to drop the carrier (which includes all the preliminary steps to remove it) and remove one of the end caps. Do you suspect they are not stock? Otherwise, you are about 1/2 way to finishing the job once there. Probably not worth the curiosity factor.

Exactly

I knew I would have to pull an end cap, but did not know what was involved.
