Post Instrumentation upgrades

I would like to reface the instruments in my 1984. (I really dislike the brown/yellow faces). I have never had much luck removing the "hands" from instruments without doing at least a small amount of damage. Is there a site that explains how to change dial faces? With all the electric and a/c I do, one would think I could figure this out.....

Yeah, I saw their gauge kits listed in the catalog before. Do they have a listing for the early 44?
I am going to be doing my 951 this winter sometime.

You may want to check out North Hollywood Speedometer.

There are special "pincet" like pliers for removing and replacing the pointers.
You might want to try with an shop that overhauls pressure indicators or micro-meters as used in machine shops.
Take Care
