Unhappy URGENT: PS Rack question...

Does the power steering hose come apart at this joint?

I turned the "round side" of this round/hex joint thinking that this is the place that you disconnect it...

This joint does not seem to be threaded together, even though there is a hex on one side, hopefully I did not damage the connection by turning it 180 degrees.


Thoughts?

Nope, that's all one piece. Not sure what, if any, damage you did. New ones are around $75 if memory serves.

I agree with Skip.
Unfortunately, this is a crimp on the hose to the hard line, even though the fitting looks like it would come apart. I think the line is toast and wouldn't use it (high pressure side of PS). Sorry.
