Post Shift boot area question

Anyone know how to secure the piece of plastic (and carpet) that the shift boot is attatched too? Mine is loose, and I can't seem to see where it fastens to. When I shift, the whole top area moves slightly.

Thanks,

-MAS

There are four screws that secure the surrounding plastic area around the shift boot. To access the rear-most screws, you simply remove the ash tray and they'll be right there in plain view. The front-most screws are underneath the compartment below the radio - you'll need to remove the compartment by putting your hand in it - them flexing your fist to make your hand fit tightly, then pull your arm - the compartment should just pop out.... revealing the screws.

The plastic under the storage compartment is very weak. I noticed that while my center plastic section wasn't moving much - one screw hole was already broken.
