Replacing my strut mounts on an '84 NA, and since Camber plates are the less expensive alternative that's the route I plan on taking. Just wondering what the inside diameter of the springs would be? They offer 2.25" or 2.5".

Stock springs? Bigger than 2.5" IIRC.

Stock springs have an ID that is over 4in

2.25 and 2.5 are standards for aftermarket springs.

What have camber plates to do with the diameter of the spring? Camber plates don't fit onto springs, they fit onto the top mount of the strut.

I'm pretty sure someone offers camber plates with built in upper spring perches
