I am doing a partial suspension refresh right now. For the control arms, you can get rebuilt arms from Vertex for $200 ea., with a 2yr. warranty. If you want to have them rebuild your arms, their turnaround time is 1 day (just spoke with them on the phone yesterday). Rebuild process includes new ball joint and new bushings front and rear. Caster block would be a separate purchase, 968 part is great if it is needed. My mounts are also bad, although I have an 87, so I have to get late style (much more expensive). New mounts for an 86 are around $80 ea (ecstuning.com), reuse flange. Alternative is KLA's, which are $250/pr from paragon-products.com. I think the solid mounts with spherical bearings would provide superior handling, but would come at the expense of additional nvh into the cabin.
