Rennlist Sticker Location
This is a STUPID question, but where on the car are you guys placing your Rennlist sticks? Front or rear side windows? Left/Right? Low on windshield? Hatch glass?
I HATE stickers, decals, raised white letters, etc. on my cars of any kind. But I plan on using the Rennlist one (Is it a good looking one at least?). Don't know what it is about Southern California but I've never seen a Porsche with a Rennlist sticker - am I missing something? Is Rennlist more of a Midwest/East coast org? Seems like you MW/East guys are more into 944's than around here. Is SoCal a 911 & Beach Bunnies kind of place? I sort of think so.
I don't even have a license plate frame that says anything, just plain black. Just asking

I put mine on the hatch glass, right below the 3rd brake light. I think it looks good there.
I haven't seen a Porsche with a rennlist sticker either....but then again look how few members there are...now spread them across 50 states..

I live in California and do not have a Rennlist sticker on my car. Probably because one must first have a sticker in order to apply it. Where would someone like me get one of these stickers?

yeah, south cali is messed up. my first visit to LA was the weekend after i put a deposit on my car and was waiting for my loan to come through. all weekend long i was trying to find a 944 or 951 to show my friends what i had just bought and i didn't see a single one!
i don't beleive in putting stickers on a porsche, so my rennlist sticker goes on my snowboard.

Dan,
Drivers' side back window, next to my "PCA" decal. The funny thing is, while at this past summer's Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, not only was I the only Porsche there with a Rennlist decal--I was one of the only owners there who knew what Rennlist was.

where did you guys get these nice stickers, all I got was some little red letter about 3 inches long =/
also, i intend to put my sicker on my windsheild since i want to get the hatch tinted and the stickers look like they go on the inside.

The Rennlist stickers are available to Members AND non-Members (Members receive a discount). The little sticker you receive with membership is to show support of your primary interest (most of ours being the 924/944/968). Mine fit perfectly on my helmet visor. The larger windscreen vinyl and "rennlist racing" stickers are available for purchase here:
Rennlist also has a "Goodie Store" where you can purchase... well... goodies: mugs, shirts, fleece, jackets, etc...
Here's some views of mine:

I think the ideal place for it would be on the hatch glass, at the top, above the third brake light, holding the glass to the hatch frame.
(It'll look better than duck tape and maybe give you a few more miles before the eventual fix.)

Since I started this dumb thread I guess I can extend it a bit. Where are you putting your PCA sticker?
I put mine on the lower left corner of the driver's side rear window.

Same here, one in the lower corner of both quarter windows. I think this is the most common spot througout the country and across all models (except the 914, they usually put them in the lower-left of the rear window and place plaques on the grated engine lid). I also have the ceramic PCA and SCCA plaques adjacent to my rear license plate. I believe each PCA sticker is worth 5HP, while the plaques are actually ballast.

Skip, more stupid questions. How do you attach the ceramic badges? Tell me you're not suggesting drilling holes in my car!
Not that I'm certain I want them, but could they be attached to the license plate frame via some kind of simple bracket? -Without looking lame?
What is SCCA? Guess I should know but I don't.
What do these badges look like/size? Pictures anyone?

SCCA= Sports Car Club of America (an organization that hates Porsche by the way). Theih logo looks like a wire wheel with writing on the tire.
I always thought if I got some badges, I'd like to make a plexiglass device to attach the badges to that would bolt under the license plate (or to the frame).
PCA stickers on the rear 1/4 windows. The previous owner got big ones and put them there, I haven't decided to remove them.
