Steering wheel nut
Hey, anyone know offhand what size the nut that holds the steering wheel on is in the pre-85s? It's bigger than a 15/16ths and a 20mm, which are the biggest I have on hand. Is it a 24?

don't know ofhand, but it is one of the normal 1/2" socket kit.
Hex size 27 mm or 32 mm would be my best guess.
You need the T-bar with the short (6 inch?) extention and a helper to hold the wheel.
Take care

Devildog,
On my 86 it is 24MM. I am positive. When pulling the wheel, having an extension magnet on hand helps to fish out the washer(s) under the nut.
