Try www.griots.com and order one of their catalogs. They sell a wheel refinishing kit with cleaner, primer, paint, and clearcoat (enough for 4 rims) for about $60. I believe they use Wurth paint (German OEM?)

I'm getting ready to order a kit myself. Also, take a look at the PelicanParts Technical Article on wheel repainting.

Thumbs up

Wurth Products (a German Company) - The Origional German Paint used by Porsche, BMW, MBZ wheels is found here is the USA (if you're in the USA). I used it on my phone-dials. Perfect. You want the 'Silver Laquer' in a spray can (about $10.00 per can, 2 cans for 4 wheels). The paint has the clear-coat already mixed in.... just have to hold the can close enough. This is a 2 hour job from cleaning to finish coat. Contact Wurth USA products company (search the net, they're out there) and find the dealer/office nearest you. I buy direct from them 'cause Wurth has so many cool items.

Drop me a line via email for complete repaint ideas. I'm doing lots of wheels these days: danosurf@msn.com

Good Luck
