Post DIY VACUUM HOSE REPLACEMENT

After reviewing the archives, it seems pretty clear that a "healthy" vacuum system is critical to proper engine operation. Since my hoses are likely original, I would like to replace them. I'm not interested in any "aesthetic" value (e.g. colored rice style), but I just want something reliable and durable.

I checked the Pelican Parts site, and they sell "vacuum hose" in bulk ($2.10-$4.90/foot depending on diameter). Pelican lists 6 different sizes in the 944 section (all measurements in mm):
1) 3.5 ID, 7.5 OD
2) 5.0 ID, 10.0 OD
3) 7.0 ID, 12.0 OD
4) 9.0 ID, 14.0 OD
5) 12.0 ID, 17.0 OD
6) 14.0 ID, 17.0 OD

Has anyone compiled a "cheat sheet" that lists the vacuum lines and the appropriate size to use? I guess worst case I could measure the existing pieces with a ruler/calipers, but I'm concerned that they have shrunk with age.

Good stuff...I ordered 15 feet of 3.5MM inner diameter hose. You're gonna need some zip ties.

I'll be getting mine tuesday, I just posted something about this so search the archives.

Oh...and no need for caps in the topic. The response time on here is awesome...a lot of the time you get an answer within 10-20 mins of posting your question...

I did mine in Pruosil blue, got it from Turbo Tim and brass tees. He has a standard kit that will do everything unless your running down to a new wastegate as I was,,had to get some more. Looks great. In the plubming section of Home Depot, there are some 5/32 spring loaded clips that fit perfect over the smaller hoses, grip them with small channel locks or needle nose, slide over the hose, install the hose, then slide them down.

Anyone have the part# for the "hose replacement kit" that Porsche has for ALL of the hoses under the intake manifold?
