Question Shifter boot.

I've been looking around for a while to replace the factory shifter boot on my 944. I haven't seen anything that's caught my eye...suggestions, anyone?

If all you need is a stock replacement, try Zims (I'm sure they have it, in several colors), Pelican Parts, or Paragon. Not very pricey, pretty easy to install, at least on the post-85.5's, once you get the sleeve over the shift **** (RTI!).

Go with the AGLA boot. They may take a long time to send it to you but they make a very nice product. The Wheel Skins boot I have is junk. They use some sort of cheap paint to dye the leather and it sticks to itself and ***** up and looks like crap after about a week of hot weather.

I found these

I think you can buy them with the black or silver caps on top!?!

I am trying to buy one myself. Their customer service is not great when you aks questions (I don't think English is their first language) but all you want is a grreat looking boot right!?!

Good Luck and please post what you decide on.

I purchased a new boot from Alan Gun Leather Accessories ("AGLA") several years back and found it to be of top quality and reasonable price. I think it's $29.95 or $39.95. Very simple, straight-forward installation (this was on an '85 NA car).
