Nose Panel Mod

Dave, thanks for the pic. Your car looks sweet
Where did you get the splitter? I dont know who AIR is.
About the nose...Is it just a hole cut or does it flow in as well. Do you know what I am asking? None of these pics seem to show in detail what i am concerned about. If you look at the GT racing pieces for example. There is a smooth taper back to the Intercooler. I am just curious if and how the edges of the opening can be rounded when modding the stocker.
Cool?
Thanks again.

Splitter is from
americaninternationalracing.com
The stock panel is a thin sheet, so it is just a sharp opening.
I added the stainless grid, thought it looked better.[URL=http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/nosepanel.jpg

Carter: Do you know how to get the edges rolled?
Skip: thanks for help getting the pics up.
Fletch: Do you have a pic of yours?
Dave: what did you use for the mesh behind the hole. It looks good.
Well I am still undecided if I should just wing it or not.

It was just some scrap material I had around in which I polished and cut to shape.
Remember when you add the new vents, you will need a intercooler duct to funnel in the new air, the stock unit will not work.

OK, i just got off the phone with TIM. He told me what they do to theirs. I am just going to do it myself. I'll take pics and share. I am going to see what I can find for mesh. I will modify the stock duct from the bumper.
...May the force be with me....LOL.

If you can do it yourself, more power to you:^)The secret is a steady hand.If you mess up, the nose panel is scrap! I would reccomend using a spiral cut saw. This is what I use.
