Throttle Response Kits?
Has anyone had any expierence with a Throttle Response Kit for your car? It's said to not change HorsePower, but Acceleration is allegedly increased. What are your thoughts (everyone)

Makes it easier to blip the throttle for downshifts and maybe allows a more comfortable angle for your ankle when cruising. S's ans S2's already have a round throttle cam.

I'm refering to the thing that sits on top of the Air Box. the accelerator cable attaches to it. It's a redesigned one of those =D thanks though...

a throttle response kit and a throttle response cam are the same thing. It is the round thing that the throttle cable attaches to. The "kit" one is shaped a little different. It opens the throttle more with less movement of the throttle pedal. A quick jab of the throttle pedal gives a greater throttle opening. I have one and like it. Zim's has them for about $25. Very easy to install.

Yep: it's the throttle cam (wheel) that the throttle cable goes to. It effectively shortens the "throttle peddle throw" by almost 50%. Good for quick response throttling. Mine took exactly 12.5 minutes to install. Don't forget to adjust the peddle stop under the throttle peddle, or you'll snap the cable!
