Thumbs up maf..wowie!! and a question

hi guys, i jsut finished putting the autothority maf system on my k-27, now it flies, i was having some problems, i posted them on the pelican board but they are all gone now...my question is, you have to set the CO level at approxametly 1.25%...so i dont suppose there is any way to do this yourself, a tool perhaps, or do i have to take it to a shop..and jsut out of curiosity, when everyone took there's to get set was it close to 1.25% right out of the box, or did you have to screw with it..also the noise it makes, it sounds like i can hear my turbo spinning, like a metalic sound, like running your hands over the outside of a boxfan is this normal?...this is my first post too, so im glad to be here..thanbks jeff ripic

I never messed with the CO measurement. I think this applies only if you are subject to emmissions testing. Otherwise the O2 sensor keeps the engine running the correct mixture. Have you upped your fuel pressure yet? I had a flat spot (lean) about 3000rpm. Installing an adjustable regulator and turning up the pressure 4-6 psi eliminated it.

I think I hear the sound you refer to but it only lasts for a second as the turbo spools up. The sound that freaked me out was the big whoosh when you lift to shift, perfectly normal though.
