Seems there are two types of dash caps out there. One that cuts across the dash pod and another kind that has ears that extend down the side of the pod and look like it might be a better option. Link below FYR.

I also looked for one like that, to cover the brand new factory dash I recently installed in my 924S. Couldn't find one, so I took my old dash to a local upholstery shop so they could use it as a patter. Having a fitted one made of Alcantara or similar material. It will be held in place by strong magnets that were glued to the underside of the dash prior to installation.
