They are the same ID, but with different bends and lengths. i.e. if you are bending your own hose it wouldn't matter... but if you're buying replacements it does.
2 hoses:
951.110.217.01
951.110.219.01
I assume from your questions that you have access to 86 944 parts, but wish to install them on your 86 951. I would not recommend the reuse of hoses that old... they're quite inexpensive, even from the dealer.

Thanks again Skip, actually, I'm the one who keeps saying the previous owner removed the ICV completely. I'm just trying to find out which cars I can take parts from to put it back. how much are the hoses? what about the valve itself? and in addition what else do I need? Maybe a visual will help. If I buy new hoses, can I use the metal parts from a N/A. Basically, if I can interchange parts, I can hit up the N/A people who are parting out their cars. TIA.

That pic you listed has almost all the parts needed. Looks to be missing one hose (951.110.213.00). The valve would run ~$130. The rest would be special order or dealer items... best to call.
Here's an image of the entire layout from a parts diagram perspective:
