Post foglamps

yesterday, i started the car to go to school and noticed that one of my foglamps didnt work. i got out and noticed that some punk kids didnt have anything to do one noght and decided to break the glass. i changed the bulb it all works fine, but i need to change the glass. I have the Turbo bumper and if i order a a new lens then the one of the lens will look too new for the other, so i would have to order to now. does anybody know of anyplaces that sell used parts for porsches? or am i going to have to purschase 2 new lenses?

Firt thing is first: F-ing punks!!!!!! Bad people go to hell.

Anywho, go to any dismantler and chances are you'll find a new lens (which I think costs $$$$ from the factory) I think you can only get the whole housing, but I may be wrong. Just get a used lens, and clean it with some solvent.

Sorry to hear that. But do you have the turbo light that is thin and wide, fog light on the outer edge and a blocked off driving light on the inner? If so you might want to think about upgrading to a new pair of the Euro lights that have a working driving light as well as the fog. You can really light up the night with those. If you search around you can usually find them for about $125 to $150 each, about the same as the standard lens. You are going to have to add wiring, switch and relay for the driving lights, though.

If you go for just the standard new replacement for just one light it will look a bit goofy next to the old one due to sand blasting on the glass of the old. And there isn't much you can do about that on a cost effective basis.
