I posted this in the Turbo forum yesterday.

I've got a "Bare Bones" LS swap kit available. Polyurethane engine mounts and uprights, C5 Bellhousing adapter, LS pilot bearing adapter and Billet-polyurethane trans mount (85.5-up cars). Everything you need to mount the LS engine properly. I'll throw in a brand new 11" conversion clutch disc for $775 shipped US-48 only. Just PM

With the 5.3 and a Z06 cam I walked on many a victim in the 948. There is a local guy with the 5.3 and a turbo doing damage in an old Iroc. All on stock hardware. My engine builder said the cranks are even stronger than the LS1 cranks.

The transmount adjusts for 1/2" drivetrain setback for the V8 swap.....

I'm not sure what you guys are considering poor mileage for the 928. I consistently get 19in town and 25 highway with my 928S4.

This is a screaming deal. If you are interested in the swap, jump on this.

do not install an ironblock.

LS1 engines are a dime a dozen in your general neck of the woods.

save the gen 1 or 2 for another car or truck.

I'll take 5 of them if you can get them for ten thousand dimes each. Around here they are $2800-ish.

Honestly around here the LS1 goes for a good 2,500 for a decent engine, at that price range if I did put the 350 in my 951 I would be about done with the swap. Any who I should be picking up the engine soon and I will build it for something don't know what yet. I might find a cheap nova or gto to drop her in.

Yep, it is a great engine and nothing anyone else was doing in 1987 was even close when you condider build quality, HP and economy.
