The S is no worse than the s2 for maintance really. Just that stupid 1 bolt tensioner that needs to be modded to use a second bolt. In some ways islt should be easier since it's the same short block as the 8v cars except for the pistons

made an agreement to buy the 87 944S. very good paint/cosmetics and EXC leather interior.

looking over and under, did not see any sign of rust or issues/leaks that worry me. hope to pick it up this weekend.
