Thanks on the compliment!

Unfortunetly I think others feel the same way. Mainly while I'm actually driving it on the road. Defensive drving I think is what they call it.

Exclamation

Forgive me if these have been covered:

The S2 has spark plugs that are really recessed into the engine. The hole (or tunnel) is to narrow for a typical plug socket. There is a spark plug socket that came in my kit and it is the only thing that I have found that can be used to change the spark plugs.

Also, there is a “tow eye” that screws into the front of the car (S2 and Turbo models). You will need this if you ever need to be towed or have your car pulled onto a flatbed.

I just got a pice quote back from that ecologyparts link. $125 for both the tool kit and the air pump. And that includes shipping to Kansas. Not bad. I think I'm going to get it.

hey steven... i used to play stock class paintball... sheridan guns all the way. and even when i got a semi auto, i still played with those guys; i made an adapter so i could put a 10 round tube in place of the 100 round magazine on my gun. i hate going to a field and getting playing against some 11 year old with an anodized autococker who shoots more paint in the first 10 minute game than i will all day.

how many 12 grams does it take to fill a tire??

Thumbs up

You'd like to get it cheaper, but anything with a Porsche logo on it, even the cheapo air compressor, carries with it a serious markup. I too would invest the $125, If you ever need it, you'll be glad you did. Make sure he includes the "towing" eye, I know a lot of cars that have lost it along the way or never had it. I fhe wanted more $$ for shipping I might balk at that..but shipping included it sounds OK.

It takes about half a twelve gram to top off a tire that's a few pounds low; it takes about 15 of them to actually *fill* a flat.

I *still* play with my custom (maybe I should call it "modded" here?) p68; stock tube magazine on top, but I got one of those spring loaded PGP2 ends for quick[er than stock] loading. I've got a screw-in constant air setup that mates to the stock 12gram nipple, so the whole thing unscrews and pops right out if for SC play. I run it to a remote bottle; CO2 that doesn't get cold + sheridan accuracy + a little money invested in good paint = that little kid with the autococker misses me 85 times while I line one up and nail him right in the mask.

I love hearing "hey, watch out for the guy with the pump" at open fields. And, I save a ton of money on paint.

Sounds kinda pricey for that little bit of stuff , but then again I paid $50 for a key blank and a holder with a stupid little (yet handy) key with a light on it.
